Heidi Krivanek, Broker Associate

Heidi Krivanek, Broker Associate

I have owned and operated Krivanek Jewelers with my husband, Mark Krivanek, in Salida’s downtown for over 20 years. With our business, we have purchased several commercial buildings and businesses. It was from these experiences that I was encouraged to enter into the real estate business.

I started in real estate as a property manager in 2007. I grew the property management division from none to 22 in a short period of time. Their values ranged from $250,000.00 to over $500,000.00. In November of 2010, I started my own company, Cornerstone Rentals, of which most all my clients joined me.

After a few short months, I received an offer to sell my company and become a full time sales agent in 2011. In my first year as a sales agent, I was recognized for top sales of that year. Since that time, I have successfully completed the sale of several homes including $1,000,000.00 dollar properties.

I am very confident in my abilities and believe with my dedication, hard work, and loyalty to my clients, they will benefit with me. My clients are my #1 priority and I will do my very best to accomplish their goals and meet their needs. Let’s “Dream, Explore, Discover” your real estate desires.

Michael Byer

Michael Byer

Hello! My name is Michael Byer. I have lived in Colorado for over 12 years. Originally from Evanston, Illinois, I fell in love with the Rocky Mountains while visiting my older brother in Steamboat Springs. I headed westward when I turned 18 years old and have called Colorado home since then.

I attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs and graduated in 4 years with a bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish. During that time, I had the opportunity to live and work abroad in Majorca, Spain, where I learned to speak fluent Spanish. I was on track toward entering the medical field when I had a change of heart. I decided to take time to soul-search and explore other passions before entering on a different career path.

In 2012, I moved to Crestone, Colorado in the San Luis Valley where my older brother had settled. I was able to help his grocery business during its transition from its original space to a larger, more central location. It was also during this time that I met my wife, Sabra, who was living in Salida.

It had been a long-time dream of mine to be self-employed. In collaboration with my wife and utilizing her background in the coffee industry, we joined forces and opened Tiny House Coffee in Poncha Springs on July 4th, 2015, 3 months after the birth of our son, Sam.

My love of the Upper-Arkansas River Valley as well as my desire to make this area a permanent home for my family has driven me to pursue a career in real estate. I have a strong work ethic and loyal nature, both qualities that perfectly align with the mission of Western Mountain Real Estate.
